Fio
buoy...

What's New

Now Available !

Release via Acoustic Command !

Gives you complete flexibility in retrieving your equipment. No longer completely dependant on the 'programmed timer' system.

This system is specifically tailored for the Fiobuoy, and can communicate, two way (ie. acknowledged ), up to distances of 500m.

The Deck Interface Unit is small and lightweight, and uses the same programming philosophy and Infra-Red Cable (to Laptop etc) as the Fiobuoy itself.

STROBE !

A option for Fiobuoy customers is an integral 'STROBE LIGHT' for recovery in night condition..

Actually housed inside it's robust body, the Xenon light is transmitted through the nylon end piece, which means no protruding lens to get damaged or cause fouling problems.

If previously 'enabled' by the user, the Strobe starts to flash as soon as a 'Release' is initiated, and continues (at approximately once each 6 seconds) until commanded to stop (via a hand controller or PC).

WINDERS !

OK, here's a fairly obvious accessory for the Fiobuoy. What happens after you've retrieved your equipment ? ...time to wind the rope back on.

Well here's a quick and easy way to do it. The Fiobuoy Custom Rope Winder. Strong, durable, light-weight ....and easy to use hand winder. Configuratons for both the 100 meter and the 200 meter versions of the Fiobuoy.

Also available, is this compact version. Essentially a simple 'turntable' style winder, ideal for small spaces. Sit the Fiobuoy on top using the 5 locating pins, and start rotating to re-wind the line.
