1. Programming

A default time and date for release is programmed using the handheld terminal.

2. Deployment

Your equipment is deployed to the seabed with the buoyant Fiobuoy tethered to it, held fast by the release mechanim.

3. Release

Upon receiving an acoustic command, the release activates, allowing the Fiobuoy to unwind to the surface.

4. Ascent

It ascends at a steady pace, while your equipment remains securely tethered at the seabed.

5. Recovery

Once your Fiobuoy surfaces, recover your equipment via the tether line.

Redeployment of the Fiobuoy is also simple and can be achieved in minutes following recovery. Just wind the rope back on and program another default time / date of release and your Fiobuoy is ready for redeployment. Fiomarine also supplies a range of rope winders to make this even quicker.
